The Beauty Codes

The Vitality Code

The Vitality Stack

Beauty is built from the inside too.

What you eat, how you hydrate and whether you consistently give your body the raw materials it needs all show up somewhere — in your skin, your hair, your energy, your muscle and the way you feel in your body.

VITALITY is the inside-out foundation of the Never-Aging philosophy. This is not about dieting harder. It is about nourishing better.

The Vitality Stack

Feed the body you want to live in.

Overall vitality

The body needs actual raw materials to build, repair and function. Protein, essential fats, vitamins, minerals, fiber, water and energy all matter. The goal is not perfection — the goal is giving your body more of what supports it and less of what constantly works against it.

Is Vitality one of your priority Codes?

Your energy crashes throughout the day

You regularly skip meals or unintentionally under-eat

Your meals are low in protein

You rarely eat colorful whole foods

You constantly feel thirsty or poorly hydrated

You rely heavily on coffee to function

Your body feels depleted rather than nourished

You want stronger hair, skin, muscle and overall vitality

You want to improve the quality of what you eat without obsessing over dieting

You cannot consistently under-nourish the body and expect it to perform like a luxury machine.

The Method

01

Nourish first

02

Prioritize protein

03

Eat beautiful fats

04

Chase color

05

Hydrate + mineralize

06

Build consistency

The formula does not need to be complicated. Eat mostly real food. Get enough protein. Include quality fats. Eat plants in different colors. Hydrate. Give your body enough energy to actually build.

The Grocery Guide

The Beauty + Skin + Vitality Grocery List

A gorgeous, Mediterranean, abundant edit of the foods that nourish beauty from the inside out. Not diet food. Not bodybuilder prep. Beautiful whole foods.

01

Build

Protein + the raw materials your body uses to maintain and rebuild.

Organic eggsWild salmonSardinesChicken / turkeyGrass-fed beefGreek yogurt / cottage cheeseBeans + lentilsHigh-quality collagenBone broth

Protein provides amino acids the body uses to build and maintain tissues, including muscle. Collagen contains amino acids such as glycine and proline that are abundant in connective tissue.

Your beauty routine should not stop at your bathroom counter.

02

Glow

Beauty fats.

Extra-virgin olive oilAvocadosWild salmonSardinesWalnutsChia seedsHemp seedsFlaxseedOrganic eggs

Dietary fats provide essential fatty acids, contribute to normal cell structure and help the body absorb fat-soluble vitamins including A, D, E and K.

Stop being afraid of the foods that help build a nourished body.

03

Brighten

Vitamin C + collagen support.

KiwiCitrusStrawberriesBlueberriesBell peppersBroccoliBrussels sproutsParsley

Vitamin C is required for normal collagen synthesis and also functions as an antioxidant.

04

Protect

Polyphenols + color.

BlueberriesBlackberriesRaspberriesPomegranateDark grapesCherriesTomatoesLeafy greensFresh herbsExtra-virgin olive oilUnsweetened cacao

Colorful plant foods provide a broad mix of vitamins, carotenoids, polyphenols and other naturally occurring plant compounds.

Eat colors nature actually made.

05

Mineralize

Mineral-rich foods.

Pumpkin seedsOrganic eggsLeafy greensBeans + lentilsSeafoodShellfishGreek yogurtAvocadoBrazil nuts

Whole foods provide minerals such as magnesium, zinc, selenium, iron, calcium and potassium that are involved in normal cellular and metabolic functions throughout the body.

06

Feed

Fiber + gut support.

BerriesChia seedsFlaxseedOatsAvocadoBeansLentilsVegetablesApplesFermented foods

Fiber supports normal digestion and provides substrate for the gut microbiome. Fermented foods can also provide live cultures when the specific product contains them.

07

Energize

Beautiful whole-food carbs.

Sweet potatoesWhite potatoesOatsQuinoaRiceFruitSquashBeansLentils

Carbohydrates are a major fuel source for the body. The Never-Aging approach is not about fearing food or eliminating an entire macronutrient — it is about choosing foods that nourish and pairing them into balanced meals.

08

Hydrate

Hydrating foods.

CucumberWatermelonCitrusBerriesMelonsTomatoesLeafy greensBroth + soups

Water-rich foods contribute fluid alongside their vitamins, minerals and other nutrients.

The Formula

The Beauty Plate

Every main meal should generally contain:

01

Protein

A meaningful protein source.

02

Color

Vegetables, fruit or both.

03

Beauty Fat

Olive oil, avocado, nuts, seeds, eggs or fatty fish.

04

Fiber-Rich Whole Food

Vegetables, fruit, legumes or whole-food carbohydrate.

You do not need to micromanage every bite. Build meals around nourishment first and the rest becomes dramatically easier.

Protein

Stop treating protein like it is only for bodybuilders.

Protein provides amino acids used throughout the body and is essential for maintaining muscle. And muscle matters — it gives the body shape, supports strength and becomes increasingly important to preserve as we move through adulthood. This is where VITALITY connects directly with STRUCTURE.

Beauty is not just skin deep. It has architecture.

Hydration + Minerals

Hydration is a beauty ritual too.

You can buy every serum in existence and still feel completely depleted if you are chronically under-hydrated. Water is involved in virtually every physiological system in the body. My approach is simple: start hydrated, stay hydrated, and pay attention to minerals too.

The Recipe

Karmel’s Morning Mineral Water

Fresh waterFresh lemonA pinch of high-quality sea saltOptional: serve cold or over ice

One of my simplest morning rituals. The water handles the hydration. The lemon makes it fresh and adds vitamin C. The salt contributes sodium — one of the body’s major electrolytes.

If I’m adding salt to my water, I care which salt I’m using.

Three sea salts that have performed particularly well in current independent heavy-metal testing.

01

Kirkland Sea Salt — Fine Grain

Current independent testing placed this among the lowest-testing salts for the metals measured, with lead reported as non-detect in the cited testing.

02

Jacobsen Salt Co. — Pure Kosher Sea Salt

Harvested from Netarts Bay, Oregon. Independent testing placed it among the lower-heavy-metal options, including lead below the laboratory reporting level.

03

Maldon Sea Salt Flakes

Traditional sea salt flakes from Maldon, England. Independent testing placed it among the lower-heavy-metal options, with lead below the reporting level.

Mineral-rich and low-heavy-metal are not automatically the same thing. I look at testing.

One thing to know

Specialty sea salts are not automatically a reliable source of iodine. If someone uses only non-iodized salt, iodine still needs to come from foods or another appropriate dietary source.

Steady Energy

Stop living on coffee and calling it energy.

One of the easiest ways to create steadier meals is to stop eating isolated snack foods all day and start building actual meals.

Instead of

  • Coffee
  • Nothing
  • More coffee
  • Random snack
  • Starving by dinner

Build with

  • Protein
  • Fiber
  • Color
  • Healthy fat
  • Whole-food carbohydrates

Personally

What I personally don’t build my diet around.

AlcoholUltra-processed foodsExcess added sugarConstant packaged snacksFoods I know make me feel depleted

My diet is built mostly around organic whole foods, beautiful fats, protein, produce and foods I actually recognize. I am not interested in eating perfectly. I am interested in creating an environment where the better choice is the normal choice.

The Rhythm

How it lives in your day

AM

Morning

  • Water first — my lemon + mineral salt water
  • A protein-centered breakfast or first meal
  • Start nourished, not caffeinated

DAY

Throughout the Day

  • Protein, color, healthy fats, fiber, whole-food carbs
  • Drink water consistently
  • Don’t realize at night you barely ate or drank

PM

Evening

  • Eat enough to feel nourished
  • A real dinner built from whole foods
  • Hydrate earlier, not right before bed

Body of Your Dreams nutrition programming

VITALITY will keep expanding with the exact foods, rituals and tools I use to nourish my body from the inside out.

Your body is building you from what you give it.

Feed it protein. Give it beautiful fats. Give it color. Give it minerals. Give it water. Give it enough. You do not need a more extreme diet — you need a body that has what it needs to build.
